Abstract submission for oral or poster presentations will be available for the 3rd ERA Summit to be held in Kiev, Ukraine, between September 6-9, 2018.

Abstracts will be collected manually. Please review and follow the below guidelines to prepare your abstract and send it to info@erasummit.org with the below required document format. Abstracts that will be sent to another e-mail address, via fax or regular mail will not be accepted.

Abstract submission will be available until July 06, 2018. Abstracts sent after this deadline will not be accepted.

ABSTRACT GUIDELINES

  • The abstracts should be sent by using the Abstract Submission Form which can be downloaded by clicking the above button. Abstracts sent in different format(s) will not be taken into consideration.
  • All abstracts should be prepared in English.
  • Abstracts can be submitted for oral or poster presentation. The Scientific Committee will take authors’ preference about the presentation type into consideration while evaluating the abstracts. However, the Scientific Committee holds the right to change the presentation type of any abstract.
  • Abstracts should be relation with the main topics of the Summit, and the related topic must be indicated on the Abstract Submission Form.  The main topics of the Summit can be found on the Main Topics page of this website.
  • The title of the abstract must be written in upper case letters and clearly indicated on the Abstract Submission Form.
  • All authors and the institutions of the authors must be clearly indicated on the Abstract Submission Form. Authors’ names must be written in lower case letters while having only the first letters in capital.
  • Abbreviations should not be used for the author names, and titles.
  • The presenting author must be clearly indicated on the Abstract Submission Form by underlining the name.
  • The abstract body must be less then 300 words, and must include the below sections:
    • Objectives
    • Method
    • Results
    • Conclusion
  • The title, authors and their affiliations should not be mentioned within the abstract body.
  • The Scientific Committee will not edit the abstracts neither for the content nor for the spell checking. Therefore, authors are responsible for the content of the abstracts, and they are kindly required to check for the typing errors.

ACCEPTANCE LETTERS
All submitted abstracts will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee and the acceptance letters will be sent to the presenting author no later than July 20, 2018.
The accepted abstracts will also be announced at the Summit website after this date.

PUBLICATION OF THE ACCEPTED ABSTRACTS
All accepted abstracts of the Summit will be published in the Summit Programme & Abstracts Book. The Summit Programme and Abstracts Book will be published as an online or printed book which will be decided at a later stage by the Organizing Committee. In either options, the Summit Programme and Abstract Book will be placed on the Summit website, after the Summit dates. 

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE PREPARATION OF ORAL PRESENTATIONS (AFTER THE ACCEPTANCE OF ABSTRACTS)

  • A presentation number will be assigned to each accepted oral presentation.
  • Oral presentations will need to be prepared in power point presentations (pptx) format. The slide size can be either 4:3 or 16:9, and the final information about this will be provided to the presenting author withing the acceptance letters.
  • Time to be allocated for the oral presentations will be 15 minutes per presentation.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE PREPARATION OF POSTER PRESENTATIONS (AFTER THE ACCEPTANCE OF ABSTRACTS)

  • A presentation number will be assigned to each accepted poster presentation.
  • Posters will need to be prepared in 70 cm (height) x 90 cm (width) portrait format.
  • Posters have to include Summary, Introduction, Method, Conclusions, Discussion Parts and References.
  • Any graphics and/or images are allowed to be used on the posters.
  • There is no limitation for the use of colours.
  • Presenting authors have to print the posters, and hang on the poster boards themselves.
  • All posters have to be collected by their authors by the last day of the Summit. Summit Organizers will not be responsible for the uncollected abstracts, and such posters will not be kept after the Summit.
